Rick L. Yabor
was born in Coral Gables, Florida. He was raised
in Miami, Florida and attended Coral Gables Senior High
School where he played a variety of sports including baseball
and football. After graduation, he attended Miami-Dade
Community College and attained an Associates of Arts degree
with a major in Business Administration. Afterwards,
he attended Florida International University where he
attained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree
with a major in Finance. Mr. Yabor worked as a Commercial
Real Estate Appraiser before attending The University
of Mississippi where he received he Juris Doctor in 1999.
Mr. Yabor graduated cum laude and participated in the
Moot Court Board, as Trial Director, and the Journal of
National Security Law, as an Articles Editor. Mr.
Yabor clerked in the Federal District Court for the Northern
District of Mississippi for U.S. Magistrate Alan Alexander.
After attaining his Juris Doctor, Mr. Yabor joined the
Office of the State Attorney for the Third Judicial Circuit
of Florida. At the time of his resignation from
the State Attorney's Office Mr. Yabor was a felony level
prosecutor with over 100 trials. Mr. Yabor prosecuted
numerous cases including murder, kidnapping, child abuse,
rape and drug trafficking. Mr. Yabor is presently
concentrating his practice on Commercial, Construction
Litigation and Criminal Law. He is a member of the
Dade County Bar Association and the Latin Builder's Association. |
