Born in Waukesha,
Wisconsin, Bob Hingston was raised in the Midwest and
attended Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. After
graduating from the University of Florida School of Law
in 1974, he joined the firm the same years. Bob
primarily deals with construction cases, representing
all spectrums of the construction industry, both as counsel
for plaintiffs and defendants. In addition, he has
considerable experience in arbitration, both as an attorney
representing clients and as a member of the panel of arbitrators.
He is on the National Panel of Arbitrators (Construction)
of the American Arbitration Association, for whom he has
been a speaker at various seminars concerning arbitration.
Bob is also a member of the Florida Bar as well as the
American Bar Association's Forum Committee on the Construction
Industry. He and Earl Welbaum co-authored the chapter
entitled "Alternative Dispute Resolution" in
the Florida Bar publication Florida Construction Law and
Practice, 2d. Ed. He has previously served as Chairman
of the Construction Committee of the Dade County Bar Association.
Bob was elected as a Council Member of the Village of
Pinecrest, FL. in 1996. He has served as Vice Mayor
and was re-elected in 1998. |
