John H. Gregory
was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Mr. Gregory attended
Loyola University in New Orleans where he graduated Magna
Cum Laude with a degree in accounting in 1978. Upon graduation,
he worked with an international accounting firm until
commencing law school. In 1982, he received his Juris
Doctor from Tulane University and joined the firm the
same year. He is a member of the American Arbitration
Association, American Bar Association*s Fidelity and Surety
Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice, and the
Construction Financial Management Association.
Mr. Gregory is a past Board of Directors of the Dade County
Young Lawyers. His practice emphasizes building construction
and surety litigation, appellate work, general commercial
litigation and insurance defense. He has tried cases before
various State and Federal courts within the State of Florida
and before the American Arbitration Association. He is
an "AV" rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Gregory has lectured both locally and nationally in
the areas of construction and surety law and has authored
and co-authored papers in those fields including "
Liability of the Performance Bond Surety ," The Law
of Performance Bonds (ABA 1999). |
