Each day, construction companies across the country have to deal with a number of hurdles. Whether a project is stopped due to lack of funding or shut down because of a lawsuit, the construction industry can be difficult at times for companies in Miami and throughout Florida. Whether a contractor is in the middle of a complex construction dispute or a construction manager has difficulty with construction workers, all sorts of situations can arise in this business and it is imperative for general contractors and construction companies to address these issues properly.
A construction project in Aventura is now underway after the Florida Third District Court of Appeal ruled in the project's favor. The city had previously barred developers from starting construction after homeowners took legal action and won an injunction which pushed off construction.
According to the appeals court, which recently ruled in favor of the project, the lower court did not give the developer ample opportunity to present their case. Additionally, the developer filed suit against the city as a result of their refusal to grant a building permit.
Sometimes, it can be incredibly difficult for construction companies to recover from legal challenges they have had to endure. However, it is crucial for people who are in this position to put their best foot forward in the courtroom and closely review their case. Furthermore, some people turn to an experienced legal professional for help with taking the right steps forward and to develop a clearer understanding of their options.
